Michael Jeffry Davis has a construction/horticulture background that stems back to the mid 1980's. After receiving a BS degree in horticulture (Landscape Industry Design) at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo he persued positions at established companies in the landscape and construction industries to gain a valuable foundation of the industry. Michael went independent with a strictly design planning business four years after earning his degree. "I know what the contractor, the owner, and the municipality require to streamline the process from start to finished." He said that creativity is his best asset but not to a fault. "If there are cost prohibitive applications, or the design will unlikely be approved, I nip that in the bud and find other ways creativity can be applied." Michael is definately a people person and prides himself on his communication efforts. He says that chemistry is very important when involved in planning and design, but whats more important is communication.
To this date Michael Jeffry Davis Design Services is a sole proprietor business. Having the benefit of working on projects up and down the west coast has brought the experience neccessary and the detail demanded in the southern california niche market.
His passion has been to be a part of the planning process that is creative and inspires.
