Southern california will have water issues for the next several years. Some believe with our population here in southern california we will have to use conservation methods from this day forward. 

Having said that, there is no reason that everyone, and I mean everyone, can't have a beautiful landscaped area. Weather it is residential, commercial, or public works the landscape can be attractive and use less water than the conventional property. 


Energy Conservation
 
When considering conserving the analysis takes into account costs and rising costs, not just using less for environmental reasons.

So, when thinking about conserving most people typically think of using less because there is less available. We can't make water, or as of yet, for the market. Electricity is something that is part of our infrastructure. We make it for our communities. However, as population grows, the demand is harder and harder (more and more expensive) to keep up with.
Sustainable Practices 
 
Is there risk in trying something new.  Do you dare to be different.  You don't have to.  We are at the point now where most new conservation techniques and sustainable practices are being used to eliminate the bad from the good.  When you decide to embark down this road you will be surprised at how many people around the world are doing the same.

As long as the concept or technique has been proven in all aspects, the risk is no more than any other idea, of the same nature, that has been used up to this point.
